Started to snow again. Worked on so much today. Then this pigeon was sitting on the opposite of the street on a power pole. Nikkor 70-300mm did the rest.

Macbook, server and gifs

So my old Asus Laptop was fine. But since I bought a iMac some while ago, I wanted to get a Macbook or a Macbook Pro to just have one operating system (and because I hate windows). Anyway, I got a Macbook Air instead. And I'm impressed. Small, long lasting battery and a very good overall performance. We will see how it will hold up. But I'm happy so far.

Had to install a HP server today for a customer. These things are so flat these days! Impressive too.

Cinemagraph

Remember the video from like one year ago? The two and a half minute smoker?
Well I stumbled over those cinemagraphs, where only a certain part of an image is animated. ANd I tried it out. Here is my first result.
Really nice technique! I will check for more footage and make a few other ones.

Facebook business cards

Remember Moo? Where I got my stickers?

So Moo and Facebook got together and you have the opportunity to get 50 free business cards of your Facebook timeline covers. Limited to 5000 customers a day. Easy as that. The cards are super thick. Images could be better but for 72dpi its ok right? You can choose the information you want to print, and can write what ever you want on the back. So here is mine.

I also got the new Kooks album and Big talk which I wanted for a while now. And I got the L'uomo Vogue. Wanted to see that Frank Ocean shoots Nabil did. Really nice
